I;m in the student center at MIT waiting for the beginning of the Interkona Vespero of the Landa Kongreso. The bus trip came off without a hitch. I met S in Northampton and we travelled together to South Station, took the Red Line to Kendall Square and then walked to check in and drop off our stuff at our dorms. In just a few minute the fesitivities officially begin.

I find I know about half the people here, so far, or maybe a little less. I seem to know about half the older folks and half the younger folks, but almost none of the more middleaged folks. I'm not sure what that says about me or my demographic.
