I've been enjoying my long vacation! It's been strange, but welcome, to be away from work for so long. Yesterday, I went shopping with Lucy -- I picked up a few clothes, we stopped by Narnia and Bobolink and had lunch out (though still maintaining our low-carb diet!). In the afternoon, Phil and I played some StarCraft and got whupped by the computer four times in a row. That was painful. Charlie went to a sleepover and poor Daniel was at loose ends all evening. All of us tried to spend some extra quality time with him, to help him pass the time. He really misses his big brother when he's not around. It reminds me of my childhood.
I'm home today have the two holidays on Wednesday and Thursday. Then it's back to work on Friday.
