It was a perfect Saturday. Last night, I was exhausted after the long day, so I had gone to bed early, but I woke up this morning vastly refreshed. After breakfast, we took Plato for a jaunt downtown and then I played some Gamecube games with the boys and some StarCraft with Phil. I read for a while (still reading Crypto -- an excellent book.) and then took a long nap in the afternoon. This evening, Lucy and I ran into the BCRC to scan some pictures that Wilma had given her. Mostly pictures of her from her childhood. It was interesting to see them -- I had seen baby pictures of her, but I had never seen pictures of her as a young girl or teenager before. There were also a couple of pictures of others, including this picture of Phil and I.
It was probably printed by hand in the Wood Hall dark room. I remember going in to use the darkroom with my Dad to make black-and-white prints. I expect I was a terrible bother -- excited for the first couple of minutes and then wanting to go to the vending machines to buy soda or candy.
When we got back, we all watched a John Wayne movie. A perfect Saturday at home.
