Lucy and I went to see Fahrenheit 9/11 today. Definitely among Michael Moore's best work. It is the only thing I've seen that really captures what the current administration is really like. The news media have been pathetic at telling any real news about the true goals and intentions of Bush and his cronies. It's depressing to see how far the United States has fallen, but hopeful that if enough people realize what crooks and criminals they have allowed to take control of the country it increases the chance that we'll get our country back in November. I'm cautiously hopeful.
I saw this 
weird trailer while searching for something else this evening. Looks dark and funny. Unfortunately, you can't get it yet or the earlier shorts about the same universe: Pica Tower. Maybe a DVD coming out soon. I might actually get one. It's compelling in a twisted and nightmarish sort of way.
