I've pretty much wrapped up my Fulbright proposal. I received the two most important letters of invitation today. I'm hoping to get one more -- other than that, I think I'm ready to go. I uploaded all of the documents today, so, unless I get that other letter or decide to rewrite something, all I have to do is pull the trigger -- it's a great feeling. Now I just need to do all that stuff I should have been doing for the past three weeks.
When I got home from work, Alisa had prepared a meal. While it simmered, we sat outside to chat for a few minutes. During that time, a neighbor stopped over and wondered if we were interested in going to Bubs Barbeque. Alisa thought we probably shouldn't, but I figure you need to go with the flow -- when it comes to spontaneously going out for barbeque, anyway. Their pulled pork is to die for. So, after a few minutes chatting, we got Alisa around to our way of thinking and we all went out to have dinner together. I'm glad to encourage neighborly spontaneity. And now we have leftovers for tomorrow.
