On Thursday, I ordered a 36gb drive for ilo. I paid extra for expedited delivery and thought that maybe they could get it shipped on Thursday and I might get it by Friday. They sent me email on Thursday saying they'd received my order. I got another on Friday morning saying they were "preparing my order for shipment" and that it would ship within 24 hours, but I haven't gotten any updates since. I had imagined they might send me a whole series of emails: "We're pulling it off the shelf" and "We're putting it in the box" and "We're taping up the box" and "We're carrying it to the shipping office" and "We stopped for a smoke, but we'll ship it Real Soon Now". Even that would be better than nothing. Once I get the drive installed, I'll be able to migrate services from my old server to ilo. I don't run many services on the home server, so it shouldn't be difficult.
