This morning, when we stopped by Kelly's, Heather was wearing big, silver hoops in her ears. Heather always like to go out to visit Penny and Plato in the car, but Penny will slash at you with her talons and act like she's trying to climb on top of your head. When she went out, I warned her that she might want to take off her earrings, so that Penny wouldn't rip them out of her head. She smiled and indicated she would be careful. As we were getting ready to leave, she realized that one of her earrings was missing -- she thought she had checked before she came in that they were both there, but when I got out to the car, I found it on the floor on the passenger's side. I took it back in to her. It might have been uncomfortable for Alisa to discover an earring on the floor of the car, although Lucy pointed out that it would be hard to use a Rav4 for "immoral purposes".
I liked the idea of the
