Exhausted. Wednesdays are killer. I got up this morning at 6am, rode my bike to the fitness club to lift weights. Rode to Kelly's for breakfast. Rode back to the office. Worked until noon. Rode home. After lunch, we all drove to the Smith College Conservatory where we saw the Titan Arum (look for pictures later). Drove back to the office. Worked until 5:30. Drove to Panera Bread with Lucy for Esperanto. Taught the Esperanto lesson. Drove to Mill River to catch the end of Daniel's peewee game. Drove home and fixed dinner for the boys. Finally, escaped into the air conditioning in Lucy's room to watch the end of CSI -- with a tall drink. Whew!
The Titan Arum was amazing.
There were dozens of people there to see it. They had it oriented so the best views of it could only be made from behind glass -- a bit mean, I thought, apparently to make it more difficult for people to photograph it well. They were selling shirts with its picture for $15.00.
George shared a great picture of him with Maddog Hall. Gotta love the caption.
Time to take the rest of the night off.
