This evening, Lucy and I went to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Mullins Center. We had cheap tickets. The fanciest tickets were seated at tables on the floor in front of the orchestra with a dance floor. The sound quality really suffered where we were -- it was really hard to understand what the announcers were saying or what the words to the songs were. Of course, I know the words to all the famous songs by heart. It was fun to see all the old favorites performed. The audience was a different demographic than I'm used to seeing at the Mullins Center -- the median age had to be at least 70.
