I have long -- perhaps always -- been opposed to the death penalty. It is clear to me that if its wrong for individuals to kill people, it is wrong for groups of people to do so as well.
At the same time, I've recently considered that I might be willing to reconsider the death penalty for some crimes: for treasonous people that, through lies and misrepresentations, cause our country to go to war.
Or maybe life in prison would be enough. Maybe.
