It wasn't much of a weekend. Yesterday, the middle of the day was spent taking Charlie to a birthday part in Noho and then in the evening we were invited to another "town-gown" event at the chancellor's house. Today, we spent the better part of the day taking Charlie to the first of the "people-to-people" meeting, getting for his trip to Australia. I did get to play a couple of games of SC with Phil, but it wasn't a very relaxing weekend.
I was pleased to see that Tim Morley got to make a nice pitch about Esperanto to the GV bloggers. For someone who jumped into the middle of things, I think he did a great job.
The last week of the semester is coming up -- Buzz and I have a huge amount of work to do to pull everything together at the end of our course. I'm looking forward to the end of the semester. This semester has been very stressful. Just a few more days of bioinformatics labs plus a bunch of committee meetings and I'll be able to focus on getting stuff taken care of.
Starting this week, I'm planning to move my journal into a blog. I'll keep the wiki (for doing wiki things), but I'm going to switch to using a drupal journal for my blog.
